BLUG meet

Yesterday was the BLUG meet at HP office on Infantry road. I reached the place on time at 4pm. It was a very cool conference room on the 6th floor of the Embassy building opp Coffee Board. I took bus till Corporation stop and then by rick till teill the coffee board stop.

The meet began by 4.30 pm when Surjo made some announcements regarding the BLUG.In logo. Then Shreyas went on to speak about the hackfest where he spoke how we have to implement the tooltip wiki kinda thing on gnome and kde. It went on for about half an hour or so. Gopal V made some interesting remarks on how to go about. Unfortunately there was no internet access in the hall to demo any stuff. tejasd , myself and 2 other pesit studs volunteered to work on it.

After the meet some of us moved to Coffee Day on cunningham road.

400 buck fine !

Today I had to shell out 400 bucks fine in the college.

We have something known as TSDP classes where they train us with so called 'industrial' skills. These classes are usually on saturdays. They were teaching us some Microsoft SQL Server 2000 programming which I in particular was least interested.I attended some classes and few weeks later got bugged, so ditched it. So while giving away our examination hall-tickets, they decided to fine 100 bucks for every session which we bunked !

Sad some guys had to pay up around 1200 bucks for no great reason !

*There cash paid was not acknowledged with receipts.

Well tomo FOSS.in is starting. I will be keeping a Python Stall where I will be putting up demos with my friend Tejas[http://www.livejournal.com/~tejasd]. I am really excited about it.

Hi,
I finally moved into LJ. My earlier blogspot page was filled up with spams. Anyways let me stop pondering over useless stuffs.
